Mollie is a colour blending wizard

Mollie has been a fan of Look Eleven from the very beginning, using our hair since 2020 in her Manchester salon. Being an incredible hair extension specialist, Mollie frequently trains others, leading demonstrations at our Look Eleven events.

Mollie's regulars include our Tanya Bardsley, model and reality star Christine McGuinness, and Hollyoaks actress Jen Metcalfe.

With such a great stylist in front of us, we wanted to pick Mollie's brain for her ultimate tips and about how she started off in the industry…

How did you realise your passion for hairdressing?

I started when my son was born to keep me occupied whilst on maternity leave. I never expected to carry on and be where I am 6 years later! I realised i loved to do what I do when I saw the happiness and confidence it gave people when they had amazing hair…

What’s your ultimate secret hair tip?

My ultimate tip which I believe got me to where I am today, is not being afraid to mix colours throughout the extensions. Mixing colours is my favourite thing to do - the possibilities are endless and the results speak for themselves.

What’s your favourite hair extension method?

My favourite method has got to be a Weft, especially the Genius Weft. Wefts allow me to get creative, mix colours seamlessly and add dimension. The Weft also gives a super thick result which everyone loves! If fitted perfectly they can be so discreet. I believe Wefts have a bad reputation and my aim is to completely change that.

What made you love Look Eleven hair extensions?

When a client booked in with me for a blowdry back in 2020 and was wearing the hair, I loved it instantly and had to know where it was from! She told me it was Look Eleven and I opened a trade account straight away! The quality was incredible and I’ve used Look Eleven ever since.
